Turning Vision into Reality: A Collaboration for Blue Note 2.0 at Pacific Place Mall
In less than two months following The Colours of Indonesia event held this September 2024, the concept of Blue Note has gracefully transitioned from vision to reality. This ambitious transformation was made possible through the seamless collaboration between MOIE and AEDI, powered by Technogym, alongside trusted partners Bira, Teka, Eschol, and Zantob.
As a continuation of the hobby room by Eko Priharseno, Design Director of AEDI DB, introduced at The Colours of Indonesia 2024, the collaboration between MOIE and Technogym manifests in a groundbreaking pop-up store named Home Fit, PowerHAUS. The pop-up artfully juxtaposes Technogym’s sculptural fitness equipment with the timeless sophistication of furniture by Vitra. For this collaboration, the goal was to create something imperfectly perfect, a space alive with character and comfort.
The success of this endeavor lies in the synergy and shared dedication of all parties involved. Each partner contributed their unique expertise and unwavering commitment, ensuring the concept was not only executed flawlessly but also completed within a remarkably short timeframe.
Situated in Jakarta’s premier shopping mall, this installation redefines the boundaries of wellness and interior design, offering a seamless blend of aesthetic refinement and functional innovation. This thoughtful integration creates a living tableau where wellness equipment ceases to be an afterthought, instead becoming a seamless extension of the home environment.
At its core, Blue Note 2.O is a holistic concept for Home Fit, PowerHAUS that shows more than a retail space; it is an exploration of how design can transform wellness equipment into an integral part of sophisticated living. The gym equipment, meticulously designed by Antonio Citterio, embodies a fresh take on fitness essentials.
Moving away from the rigid and overtly masculine archetypes of traditional gym equipment, these pieces boast a dynamic and curvaceous form, making them effortlessly adaptable to diverse interior settings—be it a living room, bedroom, or even a contemporary kitchen. This thoughtful integration creates a living tableau where wellness equipment ceases to be an afterthought, instead becoming a seamless extension of the home environment.
The visual narrative of Home Fit, PowerHAUS is a study in contrasts: the sleek curves and fluid forms of Technogym’s designs resonate with the clean lines and inviting textures of MOIE’s curated furniture pieces. This deliberate interplay speaks to AEDI Design Bureau’s visionary approach, where the boundaries between function and beauty dissolve, resulting in an inspiring and livable design experience.
Above all, this collaboration serves as a testament to MOIE and Technogym’s shared commitment to elevating the wellness experience.
By bridging the gap between fitness and interior design, Home Fit, PowerHAUS sets a bold precedent for what the future of home fitness spaces can look like. It challenges conventions, reframes possibilities, and ushers in a new era for both the interior design and gym industries.
Whether you’re drawn to the precision of Antonio Citterio’s gym equipment or the timeless appeal of Vitra and Minotti furnishings, this pop-up store is an invitation to envision a home where wellness is not only a practice but an inherent part of design. Home Fit, PowerHAUS inspires us to think beyond the utilitarian and embrace a lifestyle where aesthetics and functionality coalesce seamlessly.
Blue Note, with its poetic interplay of design and emotion, stands as a testament to the power of collaboration.
