Reinterpreting the New Luxury: AEDI DB Reveals the Sky Suites at Two Sudirman Private Residences

We’re honored to be part of Two Sudirman Private Residences, set along one of Jakarta’s most distinguished addresses. This marks our second collaboration after the successful 3 Bedroom Show Unit. This time we were entrusted with designing the Four-Bedroom Sky Suites, the newest and most anticipated residential typology in the development.

Globally, high-end luxury has shifted. It is no longer defined by visual display or heavy material gestures, but by experience, emotion, and spatial quality—how a home behaves, how it supports daily rituals, and how it restores clarity after a long day. The Sky Suites were shaped through this lens.

As interior designers, we began with proportion and movement: how one enters, pauses, and transitions between spaces. From there, we refined material consistency, texture control, and atmospheric warmth to form a home that feels precise yet deeply human. The contrasts are intentional—warm woods meeting cooler stones, soft fabrics resting beside sharper lines—creating subtle emotional shifts as you move through the apartment.

The furniture selection includes international pieces we’ve long admired, complemented by bespoke furniture crafted to adjust the scale and balance of key areas. Accessories remain measured and minimal, giving the space enough room to breathe and letting the material palette speak quietly but confidently.

Since the launch several months ago, the Sky Suites have been received incredibly well. Units have sold at an impressive pace, with many future homeowners resonating with its ambience, clarity of layout, and functional generosity. It’s a response that reinforces our belief that today’s luxury lives in nuance and emotional comfort—not in excess.

For us, this project is a continuation of our journey within interior design in Jakarta: to craft spaces that are warm, intelligent, and attuned to the rhythms of human life.
